Drone Racing Belgium promotes drone racing as an innovative and exciting hobby. We are not a traditional sports club, but an organisation that brings drone racing to a wide audience. We organise national and international events that put the skills and technology of drone racing centre stage.
Our events are a chance to get to know the hobby and the technology behind it. We want to get people excited about that technology, and we offer a platform for experienced pilots as well as newcomers to the sport.
Drone racing combines technology and skill: pilots build and set up their own drones. They fly them with a radio transmitter while watching the live camera feed from the drone through goggles, as if they were sitting in the drone themselves. The sport attracts a technically minded crowd that enjoys both building the drones and the adrenaline of racing them.
